About Us

Riptide Volleyball Club is an open, competitive, youth volleyball organization located in Ripon, Wisconsin and serving the greater Fox Valley. While the majority of our club is girls, we also offer opportunities for competitive boys teams.

Riptide competes throughout the state of Wisconsin with a number of teams between the ages of 12 and 18. We also offer mini-camps and clinics, youth instructional opportunities, and private instruction. Our competition season begins with tryouts in mid-November and concludes with the Badger Region Championships in late March. Riptide teams practice once per week, on Sunday afternoons at locations throughout the Ripon School District. Each team will compete in five to six tournaments, which begin in January.

At the younger age groups, we focus on the development of basic fundamentals and general team concepts. As athletes shift to older age groups, our focus shifts to advanced skills and a more competitive environment. Our goal is to contribute to both the development of our athlete's physical skills that lead to on-court success, as well as personal skills that lead to continued off-court success in the classroom and the community.

Our Mission:

To provide opportunities for youth participation in competitive volleyball. We are committed to developing both the athletic and personal skills required for young athletes to succeed on and off the court. We focus on individual skills and team concepts within the sport of volleyball, while also emphasizing the personal skills including preparation, teamwork, leadership and positive self-esteem. We will accomplish by continuing to recruit, train and develop the highest level coaches in the area.
